The Seaforth Golf Club presents the Seaforth Country Classic, a professional golf tournament on the Canadian Tour in August  2009. This event will showcase our rural community to a worldwide audience via the Golf Channel network and CKNX, our media partner.  This event will be a catalyst in fund raising efforts for the new GATEWAY RURAL HEALTH RESEARCH INSTITUTE (www.gatewayresearch.ca)
