The Seaforth Golf Club is holding the Seaforth Country Classic, a professional golf tournament on the Canadian Tour in August 2008, 2009, and 2010. This event will showcase Huron and Perth Counties to a worldwide audience via the Golf Channel network and CKNX, our media partner. This event will be a catalyst in fund raising efforts as area Hospital Foundations work to raise money for much needed medical equipment that will enhance patient care.

MONDAY QUALIFIER INCREASED TO 6 SPOTS!!
THE SEAFORTH COUNTRY CLASSIC TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WILL INCREASE THE QUALIFYING SPOTS FROM THE USUAL 4 TO 6 FOR THE CANADIAN TOUR MONDAY QUALIFIER. SEE QUALIFIER PAGE FOR DETAILS ON REQUIRMENTS AND HOW TO ENTER. Tee times will be posted on website on Saturday afternoon, August 24th.

Scott McRae will be our caddy master the week of the tournament. You may contact Scott directly to sign up at the following email address: smcrae@golden.net or the Seaforth Golf Club at 519-522-0985. Caddy registration will take place Monday and Tuesday of the tournament.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
An information meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 17th at 2:30 pm at Seaforth Golf Club. All volunteers welcome. This will be a scheduling and job description session. Complimentary snacks provided.

PARTY AT THE 19TH HOLE DANCE!
- Party at the 19th Hole Dance on Friday Night with THE GOOD BROTHERS -Presented by Golf Trends and the Seaforth Arena Board. Tickets available from Seaforth Arena Board, Seaforth Town Hall (519-527-0160) and at the Seaforth Golf Course (519-522-0985) $20.00 each
- Winners of the first 17 Early Birdie Ticket prizes will be announced at the dance.
- Remember to get your ticket to the Seaforth Country Classic early-'Early Birdie' tickets must be purchased before noon August 29th to be eligible for draw prizes! The Grand Prize of a 2008 Chevy Cobalt will be drawn on Sunday.
