Saturday, May 15th we hosted a Volunteer Information Session in the clubhouse and volunteers met Katherine Kipper, VP Marketing of The Economical Insurance Group.

Saturday, September 18th we will be hosting the Volunteer Appreciation Party and holding the ticket draw.  In addition there will be a draw for a FREE Golf Membership at Seaforth Golf Club for 2011.  All volunteers will be included in this draw!

Whether it's on the PGA, the LPGA, or any of the other professional golf tours, one of the key components of a successful event is a great volunteer base. Volunteers provide the back- bone that allows for maximizing the enjoyment of the spectators, maximizing the funds raised for the charity, and ensuring the smooth running of the event for the participants. We are overwhelmed with the wonderful response from everyone in the area.  We are confident we have a strong base of volunteers for tournament week and we know the volunteers of Huron and Perth will be gracious and competent hosts to this international event that is usually staged in larger urban areas.

I Would Like to Billet

Many of the players on the Canadian Tour are young and are working very hard to play on the PGA Tour. The monetary awards are much smaller and they are always grateful to billet with golf fans during a tournament. This is a great way to experience what life is like for a touring pro and get to know a future star!

All billetting must be done through our billet co-ordinator so that we can insure that players and hosts are kept up to date.  Please email linsteffler@gmail.com to host or to request a billet.
